Ronn Kakazu

5th and 6th Grade Teacher

My name is Ronn Kakazu, and this will be my second year teaching at Rogers. I am a graduate of Rogers School (Class of 1992), and my first year as a teacher was an energizing and rewarding experience. The students, parents, and staff at RAS are a wonderful group to work with, and I saw God's hand at work throughout the year.

I have taught for 22 years in Washington, New York, California, and an island called Yap. After all these years, I still really love teaching. I also enjoy spending time with my family, playing ukulele, running, listening to podcasts, and coming up with groan-inducing puns.

I look forward to building on my experience last year, and seeing what God has planned for our new class community in the upcoming year!
